We have all the available MTG Arena codes that you can get, and we’ll tell you what they’re for, where you can get them, and how you can redeem them.

There’s a few categories of MTG Arena codes that you’ll find. First off, there are codes that are available for free packs of cards to open in game. Then there’s codes for cosmetic items such as card sleeves, and lastly there are XP codes that will give you battle pass experience and hopefully unlock some more rewards for you. How do I redeem MTG Arena codes?

Once you have your MTG Arena codes in hand, launch the game on your PC and head over to the in game shop. In the top right hand corner of the screen, you’ll see a “Redeem Code” field where you can input your code. These codes are case sensitive, so be sure that you’re typing it in correctly, or copy the code from our guide and paste it into the field. Hit enter and you’ll receive your rewards.

Unfortunately, there isn’t a code redemption method available on the mobile client of MTG Arena. But you can go out to the Wizards account website and log in with your MTG Arena account information. Once there, you’ll see a “Code Redemption” link, where you can then put in your code. It will be automatically redeemed on your MTG Arena account. You can also get here by opening the “Options” menu in the mobile client, tapping on “Account” in the bottom left, and then selecting “Account Preferences” and log in.

Where can I get MTG Arena codes?

As for where you can get MTG Arena codes, there’s a few places. The most consistent source of codes is going to be from paper MTG Arena products, specifically the Starter Kits, but you can also get them from Prerelease Packs you receive for playing in a paper prerelease. The codes for the Starter Kit will give you copies of the decks that were in the kit on Arena, and the Prerelease codes will give you six packs of the set the code came from.

As for XP codes, those are randomly given out by Wizards of the Coast for various things such as release events, or compensation for downtime due to bug or technical issues on MTG Arena.

That being said, sadly MTG Arena set release pack codes are being done away with, as packs are now distributed automatically via the in game mail system. But the code system will still function for any other new codes that come up. Be sure to bookmark this guide and check back as we’ll update this guide if any new codes drop.

And that’s all there is to it folks! If you’re just getting into Arena, these codes are incredibly valuable to help jumpstart your collection. Also, if you’re just getting started, and aren’t sure what kind of deck to build, then definitely check out our best MTG Arena decks guide for some guidance!
