How to break combos in Mortal Kombat 1 with Combo Breakers
Press forward and Block with three bars of the Super Meter to break a combo in Mortal Kombat 1. This triggers a Combo Breaker, consuming all three bars of the Super Meter at the bottom of your screen. Breaking the enemy’s combo is called a Kombo Breaker in MK1 terminology. This lets you evade combos that mix in kicks and punches to deadly effect. Here’s how to break combos in MK1 for all platforms:
- Xbox: Forward on the D-pad and RT button
- PlayStation: Forward on the D-pad and R2 inputs
- Nintendo Switch: Forward on the D-pad and ZR
