Usually, players have to reach the max level of rank 55 in MW3 and get 50 Longshot kills with Marksman Rifles to unlock the Crossbow. But there are other options to get this weapon in Zombies as well. Some are quicker than the standard procedure of leveling up and then unlocking it via the Armory Unlock system. Here are our top methods to unlock the Crossbow in MW3 Zombies:

  • Reach level 55 fast with double XP and then clear the challenge – Watch out for the next double XP weekend to amplify your existing XP boosts. You can’t stack regular 2XP tokens with this so save them for regular matches. You can also earn these tokens alongside the Mirrors blueprint in MW3 as a reward for watching CODLeague matches.
  • Loot the Red Zone’s Mercenary Caches – While you can opt for finishing easier zones and hunting down Weapon Lockers and caches for Crossbows, improve your odds by working towards the Red Zone.
