They are categorized into Weapon Mastery Camos that unlock progressively through challenges specific to each weapon, culminating in prestigious Gold and Diamond finishes.

MW3 multiplayer and zombies camos

Activision and Sledgehammer Games have brought more than 130 new base camos and new Mastery camos to Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer while Zombies mode has up to 400 new base camos and over five new Mastery camos. Overall, there are more than 800 camos up for grabs in MW3 and thanks to the carry-forward system, many MW2 camos have also made a comeback.
