Picking up roughly a year after the events of Modern Warfare 2, the missions in MW3 will lead you on a global adventure with Task Force 141 to stop Makarov. The new Open Combat Missions bring a breath of fresh air to the franchise’s traditional campaign style. Here’s a detailed list of all the campaign missions you can play in the game.

It should take you about 3-4 hours on average to beat the game on Regular difficulty, including cutscenes. You can extend this by exploring the area and unlocking weapons in Open Combat Missions. The original Modern Warfare 3 (2011) provided players with a six-hour story runtime, in line with most Call of Duty campaigns. The franchise’s longest campaign remains Black Ops 3, which takes most players around 9-10 hours to complete, as opposed to other games in the series that typically offer a 6-7 hour campaign.

Is it worth finishing the campaign?

Finishing the campaign gives you multiplayer rewards like Operators, Calling Cards, XP Tokens, and Blueprints. Campaign rewards will give you a headstart in the race to prestige, with tokens making it easier to level up. You’ll also learn about the fate of important characters like Captain Price, Soap, and Laswell.
