Like any good RPG, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 features a robust leveling system where you can gain experience a huge list of skills and stats – stealth, agility, thievery, warfare, drinking, scholarship, and plenty more – to earn perk points that unlock a range of unique buffs and abilities to help you survive the tough lands of Bohemia.

Similar to other RPGs, there’s a hard limit on just how far you can push your overall main level and the level of each of these subcategories. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the level cap in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.

What is the max level in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

The level cap and max level in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is 30. This applies to all stats, skills, and Henry’s Main Level. What this means is that whether you’re leveling up stats like speech, strength, and vitality, general skills like craftsmanship, survival, and stealth, or combat skills like swords, unarmed, and marksmanship, you can only push them to a maximum of level 30. Beyond that point, you’ll stop earning experience. This diverges from the original, which had a 20 level cap.

The way you earn experience varies depending on the stat or skill. For example, to level up thievery, you need to lockpick and pickpocket. If you want to increase your level in drinking, you’ll need to imbibe silly amounts of alcohol and alcohol-based alchemy potions. To boost your sword level, you’ll need to fight using, you guessed it, a sword.

You can check what’s required to gain experience in the Player portion of the inventory. Tap the skill or stat you’re interested in, then on the left you’ll see a blurb explaining the details of the skill along with what you need to do to get more experience and increase it. There’s also the option to reset perks if you’re unhappy with your selection.
