After you take on the hunt for the elusive Goatskin in the Into the Underworld main story quest and win the respect of the local boss, Chenyek, you’ll visit the City Bathhouse to glean information from Lousy Mary and the other bath maids. After some convincing, Mary will reveal that Goatskin is holed up in a barn near The Black Horse tavern not too far away.

The problem is that the barn and yard it’s in are inaccessible from the surrounding roads. Try as might, there’s no direct route to reach the hiding place. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to get to Goatskin in the barn in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Into the Underworld.

Where to find Goatskin in the Into the Underworld quest

To reach Goatskin in the barn opposite the Black Horse Tavern in Kuttenberg, head to the yard behind the Tailor’s house. Jump over the fence next to the toilet to reach the yard next door. Enter the barn on the right, climb up the ladder, then walk west through the attic, drop down, then up the ladder ahead. Drop down from the attic into the yard ahead, then use the barrels and the cart to jump up through the window of the barn.

Passing the threshold of the window will trigger a cutscene where you’ll finally meet the beggar, Goatskin. He’s a bit shaken up and will mention someone by the name of Samuel. You’ll then have to pass a skill check or pay him to get more details. Your best bet is to choose ‘I’ve got friends in high places. I can help you’ then hand over 150 groschen to get him to talk. He’ll reveal the location of Samuel over in The King Solomon Tavern in the north of Kuttenberg.
