Wondering how to manually drive in inZOI? Spending a small fortune on a set of fresh wheels is a milestone in any Zoi’s life. It unlocks the freedom to travel across the city whenever you want without having to walk or rely on public transport and taxis.
As long as you have the money, buying a car is easy enough, but when it arrives factory-fresh outside of your home, there doesn’t appear to be a way to drive it manually. To do this, you’ll need to enable a Experimental Driving. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to manually drive in inZOI.

Alternatively, click on your Zoi, tap Car, then Get in Car for the same result. W will move the car forward, A to left, D to the right, and S backward while also serving as the brake key.
You’ll automatically view the car from third-person, but you can swap to first-person by tapping the Tab key. The driving mechanics are a little clunky and one-dimensional at the moment, hence the experimental description in the options menu, but a car will allow you to travel wherever you want within your chosen city.
Driving is a little clunky at the moment. Captured by VideoGamerThough you can’t damage your car with collisions or crashes and you don’t have to deal with insurance claims and the like, hitting other cars can trigger arguments with other Zois. It’s best to avoid these if you’re trying to increase your Zoi Karma or the overall city Karma.
To complement your new car, you may want to peruse the best Canvas presets for a new look for your Zoi, or possible play around with the best inZOI mods to customize the game a little.
