Contents hide All inZOI life stages Can you change the length of life stages in inZOI? Can you stop Zois from aging?

Looking for all inZOI life stages? From cradle to grave as it goes, inZOI mimics the circle of life with Zois aging as time passes and running through several defined life stages. Much like in the real world, these chart a Zoi’s full life span, changing their appearance as they age from a squirming newborn to a wrinkling, leather-skinned senior on death’s door.

As you play, your Zoi will go through nine life stages in total, though you are limited to only six when creating a new character and you’ll skip some depending on your Zoi’s starting age. In this guide, we’ll walk you through all the inZOI life stages and touch on changing the length of life stages and how to stop Zois aging.

All inZOI life stages

Here are all the life stages in inZOI, including the length of each in both in-game days and real-world minutes to give you a sense of how long they last:

Note that Newborn, Toddler, and Adolescent aren’t available when creating a new Zoi. The Newborn and Toddler life stages are only playable if you have a baby. Adolescent is the next stage after Child and is accessible either when a baby grows up or you create a Child Zoi and they grow up, becoming an Adolescent before growing into a Teenager.

Can you change the length of life stages in inZOI?

While you can’t change the length of life stages per se, you can adjust how long days last, effectively extending or shortening how much time your Zoi spends in each stage. To do this, tap Esc or the Game Menu button at the top of the screen, select Options, then head to Simulation. Here, you’ll find a setting called Length of Day with four options in a drop down menu:

  • 48 minutes
  • 96 minutes
  • 4 hours
  • 24 hours

These times are based on playing the game at normal speed x1.5 speed. These will naturally be shorter if you increase the game speed to fast 3.0 or very fast 5.0, and slower if you drop it down to slow x1.0.

Can you stop Zois from aging?

Yes, courtesy of an update released a short time into inZOI’s early access period, it’s possible to stop Zois from aging and cycling through the life stages. It allows you to play freely without having to worry about your Zois aging and eventually giving up the ghost.

To do this, open up the Game Menu by tapping Esc or the Game Menu button at the top of the screen. Select Options and then Simulation. You’ll have the option to turn off aging entirely by disabling the Aging setting. You can do this for both your Zois that you control along with other Zois in your city.

While your Zoi ages and goes through the life stages, make sure to develop their skills, increase their karma, and dabble in a bit of romance. If you’re getting bored of your Zoi’s look, check out the best inZOI Canvas presets to spice things up.
