As you ascend the tower at the center of the Hidden Pyramid in Sukhothai, you’ll eventually come to a room with an ancient board game. Clearing the moss from the Nephilim symbol on the right of the room reveals that ‘the game reveals the secret,’ giving you a solid indication of your task in this damp chamber.

Though the puzzle may initially seem challenging like the A Game of Wits chest puzzle, there’s a trick to it that should have you solving it in no time. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to win the game in the Blessed Pearl in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Note that it’s different to the Big Board Game puzzle later on in the story.

The Blessed Pearl board game puzzle solution

To win the game in the Blessed Pearl, you’ll need to place the stone pieces in the correct slots on the game board so that the four artifacts on the board are facing towards the statue at the back of the room. Placing down stone pieces found in the chamber changes the direction of the artifacts.

To start, head to the left of the room and grab a stone piece on the small stone shelf. Head back to the board and face the statue (we’ll use this as a point of reference to make the placement easier to understand). Place it in the slot at the center of the board. Three of the artifacts will turn to face the wall on the right.

Grab the second stone piece on the left then place it on the rightmost slot of the row that’s closest to the statue. The fourth artifact will turn, opening up a hatch on the right containing three more stone pieces. Remove all three from the shelf and drop them near the board – the hatch will close when you slot in the next piece so it’s best to get them out now.

Grab one and put it down on the second slot from the right on the second row. Two of the artifacts will face forward towards the statue. Pick up another piece and place it on the rightmost slot on the fourth row, turning another artifact. Finally, place the last stone piece in the leftmost slot of the third row, shifting the fourth artifact forward. A short cut scene will reveal a map etched into the stone pointing Indy and Gina in the right direction and prompting a visit from a familiar face.
