Fortnite has captured players worldwide with its exciting gameplay and diverse cosmetics, particularly skins that allow players to customize their characters. Exclusive free skins related to purchase incentives are among the most popular.
Unlike regular free skins obtained through in-game challenges, these skins aim to reward gamers while simultaneously promoting Fortnite’s corporate relationships. Examples of such unique skins include the “Wildcat” bundle, which came with a Nintendo Switch console, and the “Minty Legends” skin, which was tied to certain retail gift card purchases.
These offers are time-sensitive and frequently limited to specific places, making them valuable possessions for collectors and aficionados. In Chapter 6, Fortnite launched the Color Splash Jellie, an eye-catching, vivid new skin that can be obtained through a similar promotional approach.
How to claim the Color Splash Jellie skin in Fortnite Chapter 6
Players can obtain the Color Splash Jellie skin by purchasing a Fortnite V-Bucks card and redeeming the code. The skin was leaked by iFireMonkey who wrote it will be able to be redeemed starting January 13th till February 16th, 2025.

Image by iFireMonkey. All you need to do is purchase either a physical or digital V-Bucks Card from Walmart, Amazon or such retailers and then redeem it on the official Fortnite redemption page. The skin also comes in LEGO style, which players will get for free once it’s live.
This is the second Jellie outfit in the game, with the first one being a Chapter 2 classic skin. However, many players argued that the skin is “another recolor that could easily be a style for the original skin.” Such debates have been around in the community regarding other outfits based on a classic Fortnite character like Fishstick.
