In this guide, we’ll walk you through the location of all the Kvasir’s Poem artifacts needed to complete the Kvasir’s Poems Favor in God of War Ragnarok. There are a total of 14 poems peppered across the four of the nine realms and their sub regions – Svartalfheim, Alfheim, Vanaheim, and Midgard.

At this point, it’s worth noting that the following guide contains spoilers and takes you to locations you won’t reach until the late game. If you’ve yet to complete the main story, we recommend doing so to avoid souring the experience. God of War Ragnarok is best experience first hand.

Svartalfheim – The Sunrise of Nothingness 1/14

  • Location: Aurvangar Wetlands, Svartalfheim

Dock at the seventh beach counting up from the mystic gateway. Solve the water wheels weight puzzle to open the watergate. Next to the chain, there’s the Kvasir’s Poems – The Sunrise of Nothingness artifact.

Svartalfheim – Large Society Ground Orb, The Performance 2/14

  • Location: Nidavellir, Svartalfheim

From where you first dock in Nidavellir, which we’ll call the Nidavellir Docks, head left to find a dock blocked by a seal. Instruct Atreus to shoot the magic gate with a sonic arrow and pick up Kvasir’s Poem – Large Society Ground Orb, The Performance on a stack of crates to the left of the red coffin chest.

Svartalfheim – We Who Remain 3/14

  • Location: Lyngbakr Island, Bay of Bounty, Svartalfheim

Once you’ve struck the drum at The Watchtower in Svartalfheim’s Bay of Bounty, head over to Lyngbakr Island. Dock, climb up, then head left and up a chain. Push forward and take a left at the Lore Marker, then another left. Continue forward across two gaps to find a chest and Kvasir’s Poem – We Who Remain artifact.

Svartalfheim – Sanguinity 4/14

  • Location: The Applecore, Svartalfheim

You’ll only be able to retrieve this one after acquiring the spear during the Forging Destiny main path mission. Head to The Applecore via the Sverd Sands ferry not far from the Svartalfheim starting area. From The Applecore Entrance mystic gateway, follow the path down and round into the mines. Spear the wind notch ahead and climb up. Spear and detonate the weak point on your left. Go through to find Kvasir’s Poem – Sanguinity artifact.

If you head back to Sindri’s House near the World Tree, you can see all the poems you’ve found displayed on a bookcase next to Kratos’ room.

Svartalfheim – Tool and Bang 5/14

  • Location: Jarnsmida Pitmines, Svartalfheim

While solving the massive crane puzzle, climb onto the rock, and swing the crane to reach a ledge at the back of the Pitmines. Hop across once it’s come to standstill. Ahead you’ll find the Kvasir’s Poem – Tool and Bang left of a Legendary chest.

Alfheim – Afterlife Abandonment 6/14

  • Location: The Strond, Alfheim

Head into The Strond from the mystic gateway, through the gap, past the Nornir chest on your left, and up a set of ledges. Break through the barricade ahead and drop down the ledge on your left to find the Kvasir’s Poem – Afterlife Abandonment artifact to the right of a Legendary chest.

Alfheim – Visions After Rest 7/14

  • Location: The Temple of Light, Alfheim

Push through The Temple of Light until you come to the second light door. To open the door, you’ll need to jump up a ledge on your right and angle an axe throw at a Twilight Stone. Once you’ve hoped up the ledge, follow the path to find the Kvasir’s Poems – Visions After Rest artifact on the floor.

Alfheim – Spirits Within Walls 8/14

  • Location: The Temple of Light, Alfheim

Solve the Twilight Stone puzzle to open the third light door. Head through the doorway and take a left to find the Kvasir’s Poems – Spirits Within Walls artifact inside a small room.

Alfheim – Celestial Construct 9/14

  • Location: The Barrens, Alfheim

Get to the head of the large carcass in the north-east of The Barrens. Climb up a ledge to enter the carcass, then another on your right. To the right of the Lore Marker is the Kvarsir’s Poems – Celestial Construct artifact.

Alfheim – Trip 10/14

  • Location: The Forbidden Sands, Alfheim

From the entrance to The Fordidden Sands (west of The Hjarta mystic gateway), take a right until you come to a ruined elven tower. Approach and you’ll have to fight off a Frost Phantom. Fighting over, head to the balcony on the tower to find the Kvasir’s Poem – Trip artifact.

Vanaheim – Upon Pursuing a Place Not Marked On Maps 11/14

  • Location: The Southern Wilds, Vanaheim

From The Southern Wilds mystic gateway, continue forward until you come to the market square ruins. Fight off the nightmares and other mobs there. Climb up the platform in the center of the marketplace. Jump down to break the floor and grab the Kvasir’s Poem – Upon Pursuing a Place Not Marked On Maps artifact.

Vanaheim – An Organization: In The Future 12/14

  • Location: The Jungle, The Crater, Vanaheim

Note you won’t be able to grab this poem until you’ve completed the Creatures of Prophecy main quest. Enter the cave to the south west of The Plains leading to The Jungle. After climbing across a gap and Mimir pointing out that a large beast passed through there, you’ll find the Kvasir’s Poem – An Organization: In The Future artifact.

Vanaheim – Eastern Specter 13/14

  • Location: The Sinkholes, The Crater, Vanaheim

Go right up the ledge at the Sinkholes Entrance mystic gateway. Continue forward until you come to where you first meet a dragon and have to topple pillars. Head right and pull the chain to open the gate. Make your way through the cave on the right to where you defeated Crag Jaw as part of the Quaking Hollow Favor and Dragon Hunts. Burn the red fungi bramble vines on the left of the arena with the Blades of Chaos and go through. The Kvasir’s Poem – Eastern Specter artifact is on the floor next to a body.

Midgard – The Dead Do Not Ride 14/14

  • Location: The Oarsmen, Midgard

Progress through The Oarsmen until you’ve got access to the second set of stairs. Climb up on the left of the Nornir chest to find a new secret area containing a red coffin chest and the Kvasir’s Poems – The Dead Do Not Ride artifact.
