Staff of Homa is certainly one of the best 5-star weapons in Genshin Impact. The firewood staff is Hutao’s signature weapon, but its impressive stats makes it the best candidate for almost all polearm-wielding characters.

It has one of the highest atk and crit damage stats among all weapons, and it also boosts your character’s HP making it extremely useful for both DPS and HP-scaling characters.

What is Staff of Homa in Genshin Impact?

Staff of Homa is a limited high-tier weapon. Its passive, Reckless Cinnabar, allows its wielder’s HP to be increased by 20%, Attack stats will also increase by 0.8% based on the character’s max HP. If the wielder’s HP drops to 50%, the attack bonus will be further increased by an additional 1%.

 Staff of Homa is a tailor-made weapon for Hutao and fits well with her kit. She heavily relies on HP in order to successfully put her foes in their coffin, and the attack bonus when she’s below 50% can work side by side with her passive.

So if you’re going to pull for Hutao, make sure to save some primogems for this weapon as well. This goes to say that Staff of Homa is not just her signature weapon, but also her best-in-slot.

How to get Staff of Homa in Genshin Impact

Unfortunately for the Staff of Homa wanters, it is not permanently available in Genshin Impact. Staff of Homa is a 5-star weapon that only appears in the Limited Banner. Limited banner only stays for almost three weeks which isn’t a lot especially if you do not have the luxury to play for a longer duration or are just unlucky. 

The best way there is to obtain this weapon is by saving your primogems. Limited banners only last a few weeks and don’t stay long. It uses up Intertwined Fates, and you’ll have to keep at most 240 of it or 38400 primogems for a guaranteed pull as long as Epitomized Path is active. But you might even get this weapon with one pull. After all, it all depends on your luck.

Staff of Homa along with the Hutao rate-up banner was released in February 2021. In November 2021, this weapon had its rerun alongside the introduction of Elegy of the End. 

However, during the Version 3.4 Special Program, Hutao’s rerun was announced. In relation to it, Staff of Homa is also expected to arrive in the Limited Weapon Banner as it is her signature weapon. Make sure to prepare all of your intertwined fates, genesis crystals and primogems and wish for it to come home during the Phase 2 of the Genshin Impact Patch 3.4.

Staff of Homa is an excellent weapon for Hutao, Zhongli, Xiao, Cyno, Xiangling and basically almost all polearm-wielding characters.
