Epic Games just released a new Fortnite skin, and if you’re a PlayStation user, you may get it for free! The skin is called Shinji, and in addition to it, you can also get a matching pickaxe and back bling. This offer is available for a limited time, although its expiration date hasn’t been revealed by Epic yet. However, we expect it to be available for at least a month.

In this guide, we will explain how to get the new PlayStation Plus skin in Fortnite. While the skin can only be obtained on Sony’s gaming console, you can use it on any other device, from PC to mobile.

How to get the new Fortnite PlayStation skin for free

The new Fortnite skin is only available to PlayStation Plus subscribers. If you have an active subscription, you can get it directly from the PlayStation Store. To do this, open the store and look for Virtual Warrior Pack. Alternatively, you can also use this link to get the skin through a web browser.

As an active PlayStation Plus subscriber, you will see the price of $0.00. Once you finish the checkout process, the skin will be added automatically to your Fortnite locker.

The PlayStation Plus pack includes three cosmetic items:

  • Shinji Outfit (with LEGO style)
  • Virtual Servpak Back Bling
  • Crimson Codeblade Pickaxe

If you are not a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you will not be able to obtain the pack. However, if you like the cosmetics, you can simply subscribe for one month. Once you add these items to your Fortnite locker, they will stay in your account forever. Furthermore, you can obtain these cosmetics after you active a PlayStation Plus trial.
