The new Fortnite season has brought numerous cosmetic items. The Chapter 6 – Season 4 Battle Pass has eight new skins, while the OG Pass has three. Besides them, Epic Games has released many other cosmetics, such as pickaxes, emotes, and back blings. Some of these items can be unlocked for free, including new Twitch Drops that are available for a limited time.

The latest Twitch Drops bring three new Fortnite cosmetics that can be obtained by August 11. Unlocking them is very easy, as all you need to do is watch eligible channels for an hour and a half. This guide will explain everything you need to do to unlock these cosmetics. On top of this, it will reveal how you can get an upcoming skin for cheap.

How to unlock free Twitch Drops in Fortnite?

Twitch Drops can be unlocked by simply watching eligible channels. The latest batch of cosmetics brings three new items, and you can unlock the first one by simply watching streams for 30 minutes. Another one is available after an hour of watching, while you will unlock all three of them after 90 minutes.

To unlock the new free items in Fortnite, you need to follow these steps:

  • Log in to your Twitch account or create one
  • Link your Twitch and Epic Games accounts
  • Go to any participating channel
    • The channel must stream Fortnite and have Drops enabled
  • Watch the stream for 30 minutes for the Metal Menace Wrap
  • Watch for 60 minutes for the Tome of Skulls Back Bling
  • Watch for 90 minutes for the Skeletal Cyberscythe Pickaxe
  • Claim the free cosmetics from your Inventory

Even if you’re not a big fan of these cosmetics, you should unlock them if you like the Skulldroid skin, pictured above. This skin will come to the Item Shop soon, and you will be able to get a massive discount on it if you own the rest of the bundle. This happened in the past when players were able to get The Administrator for only 500 V-Bucks.

The release date of Skulldroid is currently unknown, but it should come out by October 2025.
