The Big Bang event attracted more than 11 million players, but unfortunately, a few million others weren’t able to attend it. Due to this, Epic Games decided to give players a couple of free rewards. One of these rewards is the Clawz Retro back bling.
The back bling was added with the v27.00 update, which was the first update of the Fortnite OG Season. However, despite being in the game data, the item hasn’t been released to the Item Shop yet. Fortunately, you can get it without doing nearly anything.
When will I get the free Clawz Retro back bling in Fortnite?
The Clawz Retro back bling will be automatically added to your Fortnite account early next week. While Epic Games hasn’t revealed the exact release yet, we expect the item to come out on Tuesday. To claim it, you simply need to log in during Chapter 5 – Season 1.
The free Fortnite item will be given to anyone who played in the OG Season. Due to this, if you played on multiple accounts in the season, all of them will be eligible for the reward. On top of this, Epic will also grant you the following:
- 750,000 OG Pass XP
- Spectra Knight styles
If you logged in on Saturday, December 2, you will also receive an extra style for Marshall Never More. Furthermore, Epic will add the Big Bang loading screen to your Fortnite locker as well. The OG Pass XP you receive is enough to level you up nearly 10 times, considering that each level requires 80,000 XP.

When will I receive the free Fortnite reward?
You will receive the free Fortnite item between December 4 and 10. The Clawz Retro back bling will be automatically added to your account.
Can I gift the back bling to my friend?
Unfortunately, this is not possible. However, if your Fortnite played during the OG Season, they will receive it as well.
Do I need the OG Pass to receive the Clawz Retro back bling?
The Clawz Retro back bling will be sent out to all Fortnite players who played in the OG Season. Therefore, having the OG Pass is not a requirement for it.
