Fortnite Collect Rare or Better Weapons at a Hot Spot bug fix

While we don’t know exactly why this bug is occurring for some players, it looks fairly certain that the bug only seems to affect the version of Fortnite on the Nintendo Switch, as well as some mobile players. Seemingly, no matter what you try, as long as you’re playing on a Nintendo Switch or some phones, you will be unable to complete this quest for the time being.

Luckily, the solution is simple. Logging in on your account and completing the quest on another platform with get you that completion. This means using a PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS5 or PS4 to complete the quest.

If you don’t currently have access to one of these other consoles, then unfortunately it looks like you’re out of luck. The only solution is to wait for Epic Games to deliver a patch to fix the bug on the Switch. Hopefully, this won’t take too long to happen.

That’s all you need to know about how to solve this quest not working. For some more Fortnite guides, check out the Fortnite Chapter 5 best guns to help you net some wins. And if you’re wondering when the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 end is, we’ve got a guide for that too.
