The only way you can get rid of a red card in FIFA 23’s Ultimate Team game mode is by playing another game with your suspended player in your reserves. If you put them back into your club the suspension will not be lifted.

Unfortunately that is the only way it can be done, if you are worried about this impacting your Weekend League or Rivals games our advice would be to play a Squad Battles game. This way you can remove the red card in a match where the stakes are much lower.
