The final week of the FIFA 23 FUTTIES promo has come in Ultimate Team, with a huge Team 6 release! The classic promo celebrates fan favourite cards from the FUT 23 season, with FUTTIES player items added to packs for the first time.

FUTTIES is an event we have seen in several editions of FIFA, but it could be the last one ever with the EA Sports FC 24 release date drawing ever closer. We will see some changes in EA Sports FC 24 Ultimate Team, but for now, there is limited information regarding next season’s promo events.

FIFA 23 FUTTIES Team 6 release date

The FIFA 23 FUTTIES Team 6 release date was August 25. The new cards were released into packs at the usual time of 1pm EST / 6pm BST and will be live for one week.

A third batch of Best-Of re-release players came on August 18, again added to packs at 1pm EST / 6pm BST. These will remain in packs until September 1.

What to expect in FUTTIES

EA has scrapped the usual FUTTIES vote with FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, where the community used to have a say in what players would gain an upgrade via SBC. However, FUTTIES cards have been added to packs for the first time, with some incredible items on offer. FUT Heroes have been given the FUTTIES makeover, with Premium FUTTIES items giving current players the same chemistry as FUT Heroes too!

New FUTTIES items have also been made available via new progress rewards in FUT Season 8. If that’s not enough, several batches of “Best Of” re-releases have come into packs, bringing back some of this year’s best players.

Plenty of upgrade SBCs give you the chance to hit the numerous special items that are in packs, as well as giving us various FUTTIES players and the new Cover Star Icons! With so much going on in FUTTIES, there won’t be a better time to improve your squad.

FUTTIES Team 6 all cards

FUTTIES Team 6 has given us 11 more players with massive ratings! Two more 99-rated players have joined the crew, with Gianluigi Donnarumma and Robert Lewandoski getting into the club.

200 of the best special items from FUT 23 have joined FUTTIES Team 5 in packs. Batch 3 includes players from Shapeshifters Icons, Team of the Season, and Trophy Titans Icons, among others. It will stay in packs for two weeks, rotating out on September 1.

Six players were released into packs in FUTTIES Team 1. Cristiano Ronaldo is the standout star among a stacked first set of players with a 99 overall. Sadly though, for many of us he will be unattainable as he will command top price and has been extinct on the market since his release. Angel Di Maria has a new Benfica item too, suggesting more top summer transfers could feature across FUTTIES.

There will be plenty of Squad Building Challenges released throughout the FUTTIES event. Spurs superstar Heung Min Son was the first to be released alongside the first set of players. FUT Hero Tim Cahill was then released as the first FUTTIES Hero item in the event so far, so our hopes are up for some incredible Hero items in the coming weeks.
