With FC 24 EA has proven they can still deliver without the big-name FIFA association. What’s more, with a brand new UEFA Euro mode excitement levels couldn’t be higher. On top of that, of course, you still have access to all of the classic modes.

One such mode is FC 24 Career Mode. EA included a swath of new features, making this mode better than ever. However, some basic features remain that you’ll need to master, including how to manage and adjust your budget. Check below to find out how to adjust budgets in FC 24 Career Mode.

How to adjust budgets in FC 24

Adjusting your budget in Career Mode used to be super simple. The budget slider was a useful tool that allowed you to adjust your wage and transfer budget to suit you. For instance, if you needed a little more money in the wage pot in order to sweeten a deal, all you had to do was simply move the slider and you’d have extra funds to offer in contract negotiations.

This feature was present in many FIFA games over the years. However, it was removed in FIFA 23 and there’s no word as to whether it will return in FC 24. Many in the Career Mode community have been hoping that the feature would return, but it remains to be if EA will listen to its fan base.

Whilst nothing has directly replaced the slider, there is an automated system that allocates and adjusts your budget when needed. Instead of having full autonomy over your budget, the game itself with adjust the transfer and wage offerings, helping you complete deals without the hassle of having to adjust the slider yourself.

Losing features is never ideal. However, you can be safe in the knowledge that plenty of new Career Mode improvements are coming in FC 24. From a brand new tactical system to improved player growth and development, FC 24 looks to be ushering in a new and exciting era for Career Mode. Not only that but there’s plenty of love shown to both Manager and Player Career, meaning there are plenty of options for players to enjoy.
