Crossplay will be available across all multiplayer modes in FC 24. But if you’d rather stick to playing with those on the same platform as you, then you will be able to switch the function off.
How to turn off crossplay in FC 24.
Cross-platform functionality has expanded into all multiplayer online modes in FC 24, meaning that for the first time, you will be able to play Clubs with players on a different platform to yourself.
The following modes will support cross-play in FC 24:
- Clubs
- Co-Op Season
- VOLTA Football
- Ultimate Team
- Ultimate Team Co-Op
- Online Friendlies
- Online Seasons
Crossplay is dependent on the generation of console you are playing on. The crossplay options available in FC 24 are as follows:
- PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC players will be able to play with one another cross-platform.
- PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players will be able to play with each other cross-platform.
Unfortunately, Nintendo Switch players will not be able to use cross-platform functionality in FC 24.
If you wish to turn off the crossplay option in FC 24, then you can do so by following these steps.
- Open FC 24
- Select Settings
- Select Online Settings
- Select Matchmaking Options
- Toggle Cross-play enabled between ‘Yes’ and ‘No’
