To start When Wills Collide, you first must have completed the Halls of the First Dawn quest by speaking to Rothias and Luz at the Seafloor Shrine. Once you’ve done this, head to Bakbattahl and go to the Forbidden Magick Research Lab.
✓Evacuations
While you’re on Agamen Volcanic Island, be sure to evacuate the Excavation Site and Volcanic Island Camp so you won’t have to come back again later.
You’ll want to head here anyway to retrieve your main pawn, but once you enter, you should talk to Ambrosius, who will tell you that he and Phaesus have come up with a plan to try and stave off the red storm. He’ll head off to Agamen Volcanic Island, and you’ll need to follow him there yourself.

Once you arrive, Phaesus and Ambrosius will be there, and will reanimate the Talos. A dragon appears, and all you need to do is stand back and watch as the Talos fights against the dragon.
When the dragon is defeated, that’s the quest complete, and you’ll be handsomely rewarded with 32,500G and 15,000 XP.
That’s everything you need to know about the Dragon’s Dogma 2 When Wills Collide quest. If you’re looking for more help with Dragon’s Dogma 2 quests in the Unmoored World, why not check out Wandering Roots too?
