Common

First up we have common cards. The interesting thing about Lorcana is that there aren’t hallmarks of cards that are “common”. Some of these cards are pretty good, so just because they’re easier to get doesn’t mean that they won’t see play. These cards are denoted by the gray orb icon in the bottom middle of the card.

Uncommon

Next up, we have uncommon cards. They are denoted by the White book icon in the bottom middle of the card. Once again, very similar to the commons, there are plenty of uncommon cards that see play.

Rare

Third up, we have rare cards. These are denoted by the bronze triangle icon in the bottom of the card. These cards do have a bit of a noticeable different from uncommon and common cards. They often cost a little more to play, or have a much better effect than the others before it. These cards can be the back bone of most of the decks you’re going to build.

Super Rare

Next up is Super Rare. These cards are denoted by the silver diamond icon in bottom middle of the card. Typically super rare cards are very powerful, and are cards that help drive a strategy forward. They are cards you’re always wanting to find during a game, and if you miss, you’re in a bad place.

Legendary

The last rarity that you’ll normally see is a Legendary rarity. You know if you have a legendary if you see the gold pentagon icon in the bottom middle. These cards are often times what your decks are built around. If they aren’t, they are your enders, your pièce de résistance.

Enchanted

The final rarity that we have is Enchanted. This is a randomly occurring rarity taking the place of the foil card in a booster pack. These cards are simply rarer than other cards. They basically are alternate art versions of existing cards of varying rarities.

They have a special art and a borderless design so that you can appreciate the art. They’re also denoted by the rainbow hexagon symbol in the bottom middle. These cards are so rare, that they are the most expensive Disney Lorcana cards from The First Chapter that you can actually get from a normal pack.

And that’s all there is to know about Disney Lorcana card rarity. We didn’t talk about promotional cards, because they’re a class of card all their own and are insanely expensive.
