The most important of which is the introduction of Mythic Uniques, a super-tier category reserved for only the very best, rarest, and most powerful Uniques. Here’s a closer look at what Mythic Uniques are in Diablo 4 and how they work.

What are Mythic Uniques in Diablo 4?

Put simply, Mythic Uniques replace the old Uber Uniques. They have an extremely low drop chances and incredibly rare items. To identify them in the game, you will see a purple beam of light emanating from the item, as opposed to the distinct golden-white colour that appears on regular Mythic items. How to get Mythic Uniques in Diablo 4

Mythic Uniques are extremely rare items, but you can target farm them by summoning and defeating end game bosses on higher World Tier difficulty, such as Duriel, The Echo of Varshan, Lord Zir, the Beast in the Ice, and Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint, and Andariel. Alongside, Mythic Uniques have a very small drop chance from enemies out and about in Sanctuary in level 55% World Tier 4 and in Nightmare Dungeons, seasonal activities, and Whisper caches.

How to craft Mythic Uniques

To craft a Mythic Unique, you’ll need to get x2 Resplendent Sparks and visit a Blacksmith to craft a Mythic Unique Cache for roughly around 50 million gold. You can also do the same a Jeweler in any of the major towns and settlements across Sanctuary.

Resplendent Sparks are obtained from salvaging Mythic Uniques. For example, if you make a few boss runs and loot several Mythics that you don’t need, take them to the Blacksmith and salvage them to get Resplendent Sparks to craft new Mythic Uniques. You’ll get x1 Spark per item. Otherwise, you can get Resplendent Sparks from seasonal Reputation Rank rewards, defeating Uber Lilith, and defeating Tormented Ladder bosses.
