How to get more healing potions in Diablo 4? A mighty fine question. Healing potions play a crucial role in keeping you alive during tough boss fights and to a lesser extent to top up your health when assailed by a mob of foes when exploring the overworld.

At the start of the game in Fractured Peaks, you’ll have a fairly limited stock of four potions. These will serve you well for the early game, but soon enough you’ll need more to stay alive. We’ll walk you through how to get more healing potions in Diablo 4 and how to upgrade potions to make each use provide more healing benefits. How to increase potion capacity in Diablo 4

To get more healing potions in Diablo 4, you’ll need to earn Renown, which then grants a host of rewards including extra healing potion capacity. Renown is available for each region of Sanctuary and is rewarded for unlocking Waypoints, discovering areas and revealing the map, discovering Altars of Lilith, and completing Strongholds, side quests, and side dungeons.

You can view your Region Progress and Renown for the region you’re in at any time by tapping the Tab key. For example, in Fractured Peaks, you’ll unlock one potion capacity for gathering up 500 Renown. Once you’ve amassed enough Renown, click on the red claim button to get the extra potion capacity.

How to upgrade healing potions in Diablo 4

To upgrade healing potions in Diablo 4, you’ll need to visit an Alchemist in one of the towns or settlements, such as Veroka in Kyovashad. You can upgrade your potion’s potency at certain levels. You’ll need a set amount of gold and ingredients to upgrade, typically herbs like Gallowvine collected from around the Diablo 4 overworld. Each upgrade increases the amount of Life points healed for each healing potion use along with an over-time healing bonus, for example, 35% of your Maximum Life over 3 seconds.
