What is Crowd Control in Diablo 4? Crowd Control is a very commonly used mechanic in all matter of action RPG, and Diablo 4 is no different. But what is it exactly? Well, there is a lot of aspects to Crowd Control in Diablo 4, so we’re going to go over everything in this guide.

What is Crowd Control?

Crowd control is a combat mechanic that hinders a characters ability to perform actions. This can be done to both enemies and players. Of note, bosses cannot be crowd controlled, but instead any crowd control effects will add to the boss’ stagger bar. Here is a list of all the crowd control effects in Diablo 4.

How to I stop getting crowd controlled?

The main way for you to mitigate enemy crowd control effects is to become unstoppable. This will shred off any existing crowd control effects, while making you immune to them for a short duration.

Why are some enemies not being affected by my crowd control?

Some enemies outside of bosses may have crowd control resistances or immunities, so you may want to kill these mobs first.
