Delta Force Hawk Ops boasts several maps to jump into in both the Tarkov-like Tactical Turmoil extraction shooter and standard Havoc Warfare multiplayer modes. A shooter lives and dies by the quality of its maps. Fortunately, Delta Force isn’t lacking in that department and there’s plenty more on the way as we edge closer to the game’s 1.0 release sometime in 2024. If you’re wondering about the size, scope, and differences between these combat locales, here’s a closer look at all the maps in Delta Force Hawk Ops.

Tactical Turmoil maps are designed specifically for this extraction shooter mode. These maps have an objective, POIs that all culminate with boss areas to fight over, missions to accept, and areas to loot. The maps have different themes. Zero Dam is an area with mixed-size compounds that promote medium range and close range combat. Leytali Grove has wider spaces conducive to open firefights.
As for Havoc Warfare, this is the rush-type multiplayer mode. There are currently only two maps – Ascended and Cracked. Cracked is a smaller map consisting of small urban pockets a desert town. There are some shorter-range open spaces, alongside many buildings, army camps, checkpoints, and markets. Ascension, however, is a vehicle-based map. The first half of the map has wide, open areas. It then culminates in a cave area consisting of close-range choke holds where short-range weapons excel. You then have a mixed area right at the end with a base to defend.
There will be more maps as the betas and full launch come around. The game is still in alpha so the maps above only include those currently in the game or planned for the near future. There’s a lot more work to be done to get the game up to scratch before its full launch, so expect plenty of new maps and even modes as development continues.
