Need to know all the beers you can drink in Deep Rock Galactic? Everybody loves a good drink at the end of a hard day, and the dwarf miners of Hoxxes IV probably need them more than anyone.

There are many ways to enhance your abilities while down in the mysterious caves. From picking the class right for you, to learning how to use Bosco, anything can make a difference while you’re down there mining. Beers are one of the best ways to give yourself bonuses. What are all the beers in Deep Rock Galactic, and what do they do? We’re here to show you.

Where to get beer in Deep Rock Galactic

Beer can be purchased from the Abyss Bar aboard the Space Rig. Simply walk up to Lloyd the drone and you’ll be able to buy drinks. Make sure you are at least Rank 3 or higher, or else Lloyd will turn you away.

All Beers in Deep Rock Galactic

There are two types of beers in the game, purchasable beer and craftable beer. Beer that can be purchased from Lloyd is able to give you buffs when you do your next mission. Craftable beers, however, don’t affect you while you go down to the mines. You will instead get special visual effects while you stay on the Space Rig.

You also need to unlock the Beer License to unlock any special beers with buffs or status effects. This can be done by paying 1,000 Credits, as well as paying with materials: five Barley Bulbs, 10 Yeast Cones, 10 Malt Stars, and 15 Starch Nuts. You can then continue to rank up this license using the same materials.

Can you get drunk in Deep Rock Galactic?

Yes, you are able to get drunk in Deep Rock Galactic. The border of your vision will begin to blur and you’ll stumble in random directions depending on your level of drunkness. When you reach the maximum level of drunkness, you’ll pass out.

The drunk status effect will follow you into missions. There is no reward for completing a level drunk, so we recommend removing the status effect before heading down.

Drunk as a dwarf

While there is no rewards for being drunk during a mission, you do need to be intoxicated to unlock the Darwin Award hidden achievement. This achievement has you jump into the Barrel Hoop while drunk.
