Commandos: Origins is the long-awaited return of the real-time tactical franchise. Developed by Claymore Game Studios and published by Kalypso Media, Origins acts as a prequel of sorts for the iconic group of elite soldiers. Set at the beginning of their tale in WWII, the latest game in the Commandos series aims to bring the players back to the basics of the real-time tactics genre. You will command a team of experts in their fields, and it’s your job to guide them through dangerous missions into enemy territory – and usually behind enemy lines. Commandos: Origins release date and time

Commandos: Origins is going to be released on April 9, 2025. That will make it the first original new Commandos game in nearly two decades – since Strike Force, which released in 2006. There is still no information about the release time for Commandos: Origins, but we will aim to update this section as soon as we learn anything new.

Commandos: Origins demo

You can try out Commandos: Origins by downloading the game’s demo for free. It is available on Steam, Microsoft Store, and Xbox. This will let you try the game and play through the game’s first mission to get acquainted with the controls, characters, and their abilities.

Which platforms is Commandos: Origins releasing on?

Commandos: Origins is going to be released on PC through Steam and Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. Additionally, the game will be on the Xbox Game Pass right from the launch. It is also expected that the game will be able to run fairly well on the Steam Deck.

Commandos: Origins Editions and pre-order bonuses
