If you’ve got a spare 660 Skeyt to spare, you can buy the Practice Pockets treasure map from the trader Ector Brewer at The Gifted Magpie in Fior mes Inverno. Like other treasure maps, it comes with some opaque clues about a certain ranger hanging up his boots (or in this case a coat of many pockets) and then stashing his gear somewhere in Emerald Stair.
The accompanying sketch provides some clues but given the size of the region, you’lve got your work cut out. In this guide, we’ll walk you through where to find the Practical Pockets treasure map location in Avowed.
Where to find the Practical Pockets treasure map location
To find the Practical Pockets treasure map location, you’ll need to travel to the northeast of Emerald Stair, specifically to the Ranger Headquarters. It’s east of Fior mes Iverno and northeast of the Truffle Farm in the Rolling Crags area. The Ranger Headquarters is right next to the Rolling Crag Beacon so fast travel there if you have it unlocked.
Once you reach the beacon, head northeast to the clearing behind the Ranger Headquarters. If you stand in the clearing and look up at the HQ tower, you’ll see that it matches the sketch on the treasure map. At the back of the clearing, you’ll find a pit you can drop into just past the trees and below the cliff with the fluorescent light blue mushrooms growing on them.

Inside, you’ll find Hjilde’s Handy Hide, a unique light armor of Exceptional Quality that boasts 10% damage reduction and 30 additional damage reduction. It also has the All Seasons and Survivor buffs, which grant -10% damage from fire, frost, and shock, and +40 maximum health, respectively. Picking up Hjilde’s Handy Hide will complete the Avowed Practical Pockets treasure map.
