Wondering whether there’ll be another MW3 beta? We’ve got answers. Every year, the arrival of a new Call of Duty game is a highly anticipated event in the gaming world, and in 2023, with Modern Warfare 3 just around the corner, the excitement is obvious.
There’s a lot to look forward to in MW3. From the continuation of the long-awaited campaign that picks up the story of Taskforce 141 as well as the return of Makarov, players cannot wait to get their hands on the game. With the beta now over, we’ll be letting you know if there will be another MW3 beta. But before we dive in, we suggest going over the MW3 camapign early access to play the story early.
Will there be another MW3 beta?
No, there won’t be another MW3 beta. Activision has confirmed that once the beta concludes, players will have to wait until November 10 to get their hands on the full game. However, players who pre-ordered any digital copy of the game can play the campaign early from November 2.
The MW3 beta kicked off with a PlayStation-exclusive phase starting on October 6th and ran through October 10th. However, access was limited to those who had pre-ordered the game for the first two days, from October 6th to 7th.
Following that, the MW3 open beta commenced on Thursday, October 12th. This phase welcomed players on all platforms. Yet, during the initial two days, from October 12th to 13th, it was exclusively accessible to those who had pre-ordered the game. For Xbox and PC players who didn’t pre-order, they could only access the beta from October 14th to 16th.
While Activision’s decision to end the beta will disappoint some fans, important to note that the Sledgehammer Games is still working on the game and making improvements ahead of the full launch next month.
Many players have complained about the MW3 beta graphics looking unimpressive, with some even cancelling their pre-orders of the game. So after acknowledging these feedback, it’s only reasonable that Activision ends the beta to work on the game and implement changes to make the game better before next month.
While you wait for the full launch of Modern Warfare 3, things are heating up in MW2 and Warzone Season 6. So we suggest heading into Warzone with the best-ranked loadouts and keeping an eye on The Haunting event as well as the Diablo operators list as they become available.
