Typhoon Blade in Fortnite can be claimed from a Typhoon Blade stand, from loot chests, or by defeating demons on the Chapter 6 Season 1 island. While the item itself comes in Epic rarity, you can grab a mythic variant by defeating the Shogun X boss on the Rift Island that spawns in the middle of a match. Nevertheless, the easiest method to get your hands on a Typhoon Blade is to head to a Blade stand and grab it from there. How to use a Typhoon Blade in Fortnite
There are five actions you can perform using the Typhoon Blade in Fortnite. Image by Epic Games.Typhoon Blade has five different actions you can perform with it in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1, divided into two categories, namely Attack and Movement. They are:
Attack abilities
- Default Attack: The player swings the sword in front of them, creating an effective combo that deals 30 damage per slash.
- Cyclone Slash: The player stays still for a few seconds before creating a sideways slash, dealing 90 damage and knocking any enemy around 30 meters away.
- Falling Strike: If the player presses the trigger button while in the air, they will do a slam-down attack, which makes them fall significantly faster and deal 70 damage to any enemy hit.
Movement abilities
- Wind Leap: If the player presses the jump button while sprinting, they will have a jump with increased height that also negates fall damage.
- Air Dash: If the player presses the jump button while in the air from using Wind Leap, they will dash forward, before falling back to the ground. Negates fall damage.
The Typhoon Blade features a durability counter shown as a percentage, which decreases when you use abilities or sprint. This adds a layer of strategy to your gameplay, as managing your blade’s durability becomes crucial for success. When the durability hits 0%, the item shatters and vanishes from the player’s inventory.
