Contents hide When is the next Diablo 4 patch? What was the most recent Diablo 4 patch?Blizzard’s action RPG Diablo 4 is now well into its first season, and as is traditional for most live service games in the modern age, is regularly updated with tweaks and fixes. As a result, many players are often wondering when is the next Diablo 4 patch?
We’ll answer that question to the best of our ability here, keeping you in the loop as soon as it’s official from Blizzard when the next patch is expected to drop. Here’s what we know so far.
When is the next Diablo 4 patch?
The next major patch for Diablo 4 is expected to be its 1.1.2 update, which has been scheduled for Tuesday, 15 August 2023.
The patch notes for the update dropped last week, and Blizzard has revealed that its major changes will include fixes to the Fury Against Fate quest, as well as patching out an exploit that allowed players to run Nightmare Dungeons multiple times in quick succession by changing party members. You can check out the Diablo 4 1.1.2 patch notes over here.
While we don’t know for certain when the next patch will arrive, Blizzard has settled into a routine of revealing patch notes on a Friday, and for the patches to land on a Tuesday evening. We’ll keep this page up to date should that pattern change.
What was the most recent Diablo 4 patch?
Prior to this, the most recent major patch (not counting hotfixes) for Diablo 4 came in patch 1.1.1. This update released on August 8 and included fixes for Resource Burn affix as well as changing monster density. You can check out the Diablo 4 1.1.1 patch notes over here.
Other fixes we’re expecting in future patches include a fix for a gold and item trading exploit that will allow Blizzard to turn item trading back on, as well of course as future Seasonal content, starting with Diablo 4 Season 2, with the latter expected to arrive in October.
