Disney Lorcana reprints – The First Chatper
The publisher, Ravensburger, announced that they in fact will be doing a full reprint of The First Chapter. But between now and then, we have a few things to tie us over. First off, we have the release of Rise of the Floodborn on November 17 for local game stores. Then on December 1, we have the wider global release of the same set, along side the Disney100 Disney Lorcana collector’s box. These releases for Rise of the Floodborn will include boxes and boosters, as well as starter decks and accessories.
Once we reach 2024, Ravensburger states that a full reprint run of The First Chapter will hopefully make its way to the United States in the first quarter. We don’t know if this includes starter decks, or just boxes and boosters, but we’d guess that it’s the full range of products. Hopefully, Rise of the Floodborn doesn’t go through a similar drought of product supply. But given how quickly Ravensburger has responded to the demand, we probably won’t have to wait long if it does.
Disney Lorcana reprints – how much do they cost?
Check Price on AmazonIf you don’t want to wait for the reprint cycle and have spare cash burning a hole in your wallet, then you can still find sealed packs, boxes and starter decks online. They’re going to cost you quite a bit of money though. Starter decks are almost five times the cost or more, and boxes are a little more than double the retail MSRP. Normal booster packs of cards typically go for around $5, but right now, loose packs are triple the cost. Safe to say, waiting for the reprint window is definitely the way to go for most of us.
That’s all the information that we have for you at the moment on any Disney Lorcana reprints. As we get closer to the reprint window, we’ll surely get exact dates from Ravensburger, and we’ll update you here when we have that information. You may also want to sign up for emails from ShopDisney so that you can get notified if any products come back in stock over there. While you’re here though, definitely check out our guide to the best cards from The First Chapter so that you know which cards you want to try to pick up when the packs come back.
