All playable characters in Tekken 8 Demo
There are four playable characters available in the Tekken 8 Demo:
- Jin Kazama
- Kazuya Mishima
- Paul Phoenix
- Nina Williams
These are the only four characters available for play in the demo. They are available through the Arcade Quest, Player vs Player, Player vs CPU, and Super Ghost Battle.
Jin Kazama
Image via Bandai NamcoJin has been the main face of the Tekken series for many games now. The Story Mode also revolves around him. Jin is the son of Kazuya, who is on a quest to stop his father from waging war on the world after he gained control of the G Corporation. Jin also has a devil gene, which he now has control over.
Kazuya Mishima
Image via Bandai NamcoThe father of Jin and the current leader of G Corporation. After taking out his own father, Heihachi Mishima, Kazuya used his new leadership position to wreak havoc and send the world into chaos. He will face his son who is trying to stop him, and end the bloodshed his family line has brought.
Paul Phoenix
Image via Bandai NamcoThe hotheaded Paul returns to Tekken for the Tekken 8 Demo. Paul is more determined than ever to win the King of Iron First Tournament, after coming close several times. Paul is mostly looking for the prize money that didn’t get delivered to him after the disappearance of the tournament’s organizer. He’s been left destitute ever since and is looking for redemption.
✓Once a rival
Paul was originally set up as Kazuya’s rival in the first Tekken game. Now, since Jin has taken that role, Paul has taken a bit of a backseat in the story. Only the game will tell if he will ever get the prize money he deserves.
Nina Williams
Image via Bandai NamcoNina is a cold-blooded assassin who has been able to stay young since the original Tekken. She returns to Tekken 8 after working as a freelance assassin due to failing to catch Jin Kazama. Now, she works directly under Kazuya as the commander of the G Corporation Forces, helping him in his quest for world domination. Her fight style is ruthless.
That’s all the playable characters in the Tekken 8 Demo. Be sure to check out all the characters coming to Tekken 8, and the Tekken 8 Preview if you can’t get enough news on the next game in the Tekken series.
