Jin Kazuma, voiced by Isshin Chiba

Even people who have never played Tekken tangentially know the character Jin, and he’s back in Tekken 8. Isshin Chiba is represing his role as Jin’s voice actor, which is always a great thing to see with character continuity in a series. As the effective “main character”, we’ll see Isshin voice Jin through the story of Tekken 8.

Kazuya Mishima, voiced by Masanori Shinohara

Masanori Shinohara, who has been voicing Mishima as early as 2004, is also reprising his role in this sequel. He will continue to voice Kazuya Mishima, who is the eldest son of Heihachi, another Tekken legend. Set six months after the events of Tekken 7, the storyline centers on the long-standing rivalry between Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama, culminating in a father-and-son showdown. Adding to the excitement is the return of Jun Kazama, who had been missing in action for several games.

Jun Kazama, voiced by Mamiko Noto

Since the 2011 release of Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Mamiko Noto has been the voice of Jun Kazama. Jun is the mother of Jin in Tekken, and she has been missing from the mainline games since 2011 and this is her big return to the ring. There is something to be said for characters keeping the same voice actors throughout each game, and it’s great to see so many of the same names return in Tekken 8.
