Character Revealed: Sweetheart - Initial Impressions

Overview

Sweetheart is a 5* Rarity Arcanist of the Beast Afflatus that focuses on dealing good Reality damage to enemies in her way and inflicting the Daze status to them, making them unable to act for a certain amount of turns all the while punishing enemies even more if they have debuffs on themselves.

Character Backstory

Era: The 1950s

Date Of Birth: 1st of June

AMERICA'S SWEETHEART: Innocent, pure, elegant, and feminine ... There are not enough words to describe her glamour. She is the one and only Blondie: The America's Sweetheart.

THE PROPER CLUMSINESS: When tripped over by accident, her garter belts under the skirt are just about to be seen; when standing on a windy subway grating, her dress flutters like a blooming white flower ... Sweetheart's glamour, mingled with her clumsiness, is just the right appeal to the Americans.

THE INTERNATIONAL MOVIE STAR: Her name dominates every newspaper headline. People stand in endless lines outside the theaters with her posters. New movies and affairs will only make her more enchanting. She is the one who sets the standard and trend of the latest fashion.

Damage Type:Reality Damage

Skill 1 - Dud:1-target attack. Deals Reality DMG.

Skill 2 - Slight Breeze:Mass attack. Deals Reality DMG to 2 enemies; if the target is in [Stats Down], [Neg Status], or [Control] statuses, additionally deals Reality DMG.

Ultimate - A Good Dream Tonight:  1-target attack. Deals Reality DMG, reduces the target's Reality DEF and Mental DEF, and inflicts [Daze] status on the target.

[Daze]: Cannot Act

Passive

A Low Whisper:

1st Insight :When the caster is attacked, inflicts the attacker 1 stack of [Enchanted] for 2 rounds. If the attacker is of the opposite gender, inflicts 1 stack of [Enchanted] for 2 rounds.

[Enchanted]: Enemies’ damage against Sweetheart is reduced

2nd Insight:Critical Rate +10% when Sweetheart enters the battle.

3rd Insight: When the caster attacks, inflicts 1 stack of [Enchanted] on the target for 2 rounds. If the target is of the opposite sex, inflicts 1 additional stack of [Enchanted].

Portray

1st Level: Increases the damage dealt by A Good Dream Tonight and enhances its Reality and Mental Res Reduction Effect.

2nd Level: Increases the damage dealt by Dud

3rd Level: Increases the damage dealt by Slight Breeze to targets in [Stats Down], [Neg Status], or [Control] statuses

4th Level: Increases the damage dealt by A Good Dream Tonight

5th Level: Increases the damage dealt by A Good Dream Tonight

First Impressions

Sweetheart is an Arcanist that focuses on dealing both single target and AOE damage to enemies and punishes any enemies with debuffs when facing her. Sweetheart is a very powerful budget Reality Damage Dealer that players should have in their roster as her skill kit and ultimate are both very versatile and do good enough damage to make her a somewhat viable option for a Damage Dealer in early game team building.

Sweetheart’s strength lies in her ability and talent to not only reduce the enemies’ damage against her by inflicting them with the [Enchanted] debuff but also making the enemy unable to act for a length of time by inflicting the [Daze] Status using her ultimate. This makes her a very useful Arcanist to have in the long term, especially for earlier fights and even more challenging fights in the future.

-Sweetheart will be available in the game’s general gacha pool.
