Cassette Beasts Strongest Beasts - Everything You Need To Know
The strength of a beast in Cassette Beast is generally determined through 3 different aspects: The Beasts’ Type, The Beast Moves and Beast Abilities.
Beast Types
Each Beast in Cassette Beast is assigned 1 specific type from the 14 different types, each with their own unique strengths and weaknesses. Each of the beast types are strong against another and each have various weaknesses when fighting against beasts of specific types.
The type match ups in each battle will determine the strength of the beasts, as when fighting against a beast of the advantageous type, the beasts will essentially do double damage to them, or deal half the damage when they are fighting against a disadvantageous type.
Additionally, each of the beasts’ moves will also be divided into specific types for each of their attacks and if the beast and the move’s types match each other, the beasts will deal more damage when dealing damage against the enemy.
Beast Moves
When in battle and outside in the openworld, each beasts are assigned up to 4 different abilities depending on their skill kit, with their move pool depending specifically on the different species that the beasts fall into.
Different moves have different effects depending on their user and description and each of the beast moves are assigned a specific power value that will determine the amount of damage that move will do to the enemy. Additionally, when using a move that is effective against the enemy’s type, the move will deal double the damage to the enemy, allowing the beast to decimate the opponent.
Beast moves are generally divided into 2 different types: Active and passive, with active moves needing to be selected and use during battles by the players themselves, while passive moves will automatically be activated when their conditions are met. The passive moves will also have an advantaged element assigned to them, but they will rarely take the element into account due to their passive automatic effects.
Different beasts have different innate move pools that they will learn upon leveling up, with each move pool being unique to each of the beast’ species. However, there are also additional ways for players to teach the different beasts different moves in the overworld in order to diversify the beasts’ move pool to deal with various different battles. A strong beast will need to have a strong move pool with a variety of powerful moves or be able to learn powerful moves from different sources to help the player deal with different situations with ease.
Beast Abilities
Finally the last consideration players need to take into account in order to determine a good beast is the beasts’ abilities.
Upon capturing different beasts in the game for the first time, as long as the player have that beast species in the team, they will be able to use different beast abilities depending on the beast species they captured on the openworld, allowing the player to have a much easier time exploring the overworld in the game.
Each of these beast abilities are unique to the beast species that the player captures, and only specific unique species have these special abilities that players can trigger on the overworld.
These beast abilities vary from Gliding in the air, Dashing with high speed or other powerful effects.

Strongest Beasts For Abilities
Before capturing the different beasts in order to use them in a fight, it is highly recommended that players should prioritize catching the different beasts that provide the players with the unique Abilities needed to aid in overworld exploration first.
This is to ensure that players can get access to every beast capture location and help reduce the amount of time you will need to catch the strongest possible beasts to aid you in battle.
The strongest beasts players should capture purely for their unique abilities to aid in their overworld exploration are:
- Dominoth: Provides the Mothwing Glider ability, allowing you to glide across long distances in the oveworld and help traverse dangerous terrains.
- Bulletino: Bulletino provides players with the ability Bulletino Dash, allowing players to dash while running in the overworld, consuming stamina in the process.
