From August 29 to 31, the 92 best global players of the three flagship games from mobile and PC video game developer IGG Games gathered in Incheon, South Korea, to celebrate a unique competitive event.
This is the second IGG World Championship, which, following the success of its first edition held in Thailand in 2024, once again offers its players and spectatorsa high-level, quality competitive experience. As in the first edition, this event was divided into three main competitions, with each game as the main protagonist, in which we were able to enjoy the performance of the competitors who qualified in the challenging qualifiers.
- Lords Mobile: 36 players from 16 different countries were divided into 12 teams to compete for the title of Lords Mobile 2025 Champion in a building control showdown. Only the team with the longest total building control time could claim victory, a challenge that tested the competitors’ strategic skills and thrilled the audience. The winning team was T4K, with Pv3 and MrJ coming in second and third place, respectively.
- Viking Rise: Eight teams of three players from around the world battled it out in battle royale mode in this great Viking-themed game. Separate but united, the individual performance of each team member and their team strategy allowed r350 to claim victory, relegating RNG and S27a to a hard-fought second and third place.
- Doomsday: Last Survivors: A total of 32 top-level players were divided into four lethal teams facing off in the innovative “Off Limits War” game mode created by the developers for this Championship. Thirty-five minutes of intense, fast-paced battle to earn the highest team score and defeat all others. The four teams HNB, SSI, KOR, and GALL shone with their performance on the battlefield.
In addition to intense battles and unexpected strategic twists, this IGG World Competition also offered experiences both at the event venue and virtually. Attendees and participants enjoyed the presence and performances of renowned cosplayers dressed as their favorite game characters, fan zones filled with mini-games offering exclusive prizes and gifts, and even terrifying zombies from the post-apocalyptic world of Doomsday: Last Survivors invaded the venue, giving more than one unsuspecting attendee a heart-stopping scare. All of this took place in a personalized, themed environment that transported everyone and immersed them in their favorite games.
Players and fans around the world were also able to enjoy the experience from their homes thanks to live broadcasts that included special rewards, from Incheon to their screens!
This entire event would not have been possible without the support of all the players and sponsors, whom IGG thanked during the competition: OneOdio, KARNOX, VSGO, Trolli, Kawasaki, iFLYTEK, UGREEN, DAREU, GAMESIR, CAISCHAI, Viking Sweets, RedMagic, Republic of Gamers, film, URAGE, LEGENDARY, FUTURISTEC, Tec-Do 2.0, IMS, ACW, EZVIZ, tnk factory, QIWI Wallet, MyCard, 游戏那点事, Droid Gamers, multiplayer.it, WITH PR, ZonaMMORPG, Game park, TwoHitGames, THIS IS GAME, GAMOTA, GAMING DOSE.
