Build a Criminal Paradise – How to Develop Your Turf in The Grand Mafia

A mafia is not a mafia if it does not have a big enough territory. In The Grand Mafia, your turf is very critical in highlighting the gang’s overall power. It is part and parcel of your career as the leader of your mafia gang to continuously pour in resources to upgrade and expand your turf. But in order to do so, you need a sufficient amount of resources and you also need to fulfill some requirements.
In this guide, we’ll show you all of the very important buildings of your turf and how you can manage these in order to garner resources as well as upgrade them to collect more.
The Mansion and Other Base Buildings
Before diving deep into developing your turf, you need to be familiar with the core base buildings. These include the Mansion, the Wall, and the Radar.
The Mansion is essentially the central hub for all of your mafia’s activities. It is akin to the Town Hall in Clash of Clans. Upgrading the Mansion is often a prerequisite for unlocking new buildings to add to your turf so it is very important that you upgrade it.
For every upgrade, your turf actually receives benefits which usually consist of increases in the capabilities of your mafia. A table filled with the details of the Mansion upgrades is displayed below.

And just like a castle, it also needs fortification and that is where the Wall comes into play. The Wall is your turf’s first line of defense against rival mafia gangs. Like the mansion, it can be upgraded for better durability.
What is interesting with turfs is that you can assign Enforcers to passively add buffs to the Wall. Enforcers are basically special characters that can give buffs and you can know more about them in this article.
Enforcers aside, you can also add traps to your walls for additional protection. Traps can be unlocked through the Investment Center (more on this later).
Lastly, you have the radar which is your turf’s watchtower. The Radar is capable of detecting incoming rival gangs. It checks not only your main turf but also other areas that you may have occupied on the world map. You can collect more detailed information as you keep upgrading the Radar. For instance, you can debuff and attacking rival gang’s attack by 10% once your Radar reaches Level 25.
Four Essential Resource Facilities
As mentioned, you are going to need resources to build infrastructure on your turf. There are four essential resources in the game: cash, arms, cargo, and metal. These resources can be collected from special facilities that specifically produce them on an hourly basis.
Let’s start with the bank. As you may have already guessed, the bank produces cash. Cash is needed to produce a multitude of things for your turf such as building infrastructure, training associates, and the like. What you need to know about the bank is the “hourly upkeep” which is basically the salary that you pay to every member of your gang. After an hour of producing cash, the game automatically subtracts this with the hourly upkeep. If your cash production cannot keep up with the hourly upkeep, you will make less profit.

An interesting thing to note is that these buildings pop up “bubbles” hourly and popping said bubbles can give you additional resources. Each hour produces a bubble that contains output worth 10% of the current production output of the building. So if the gunsmith produces 1000 arms per hour, then the bubbles will give an additional 100 arms, also per hour.
Making Investments
The Investment Center is a special building that allows you to invest in buffs that strengthen various aspects of your gang.
You can only make one investment at a time and the process can take quite a while depending on the degree of the investment itself. Upgrading the Investment Center can boost the investment speed.
There are multiple categories that each include different branches of upgrades to invest in. Insofar as building your turf, the categories of “Economy” and “Defenses” are the most relevant and helpful.
