But perhaps the most interesting of the robotic trio is the mysterious Friday, the final machine that you must track down to complete Belobog's commission. Its quick moves and overall stubbornness make it a difficult encounter, but it seems that this machine holds the answers to unlocking the truth behind Belobog's dark past - so catch this Speedy Chaser and finally learn what became of Koleda's father.

How To Unlock The Speedy Chaser Commission

The Speedy Chaser commission can be unlocked towards the end of Chapter Two in Zenless Zone Zero once you complete the prerequisite commissions Let's Go, Bro! and the Mechanical Love and reach an Inter-Knot Level of 26.

Once these quests are completeand a few story beats play out, Belobog Industries will reach out to you. You can accept the commission and access it through the HDD system.

How To Prepare For The Speedy Chaser Commission

Speedy Chaser is a medium-level difficulty commission with a recommended Agent level of 26. Likewise, Electric attributes will serve you well in the boss fight against Friday.

Friday isresistant to Physical Damage, so if you bring your own team, avoid Agents with this Attribute.

Luckily, there is not much preparation you need to do since the members of Belobog Industries will join you as a trial team for this commission. All of the Agents are at the appropriate level and have a build that's well enough for them to hold their own.

You can toggle the "Trial Mode" button on the bottom-left of the Agent Select screen to use your own Agents. Know, though, that you can't use Trial Agents alongside your own, so choose wisely before toggling.

When it comes to combat, you will want to rely on Anton for damage output, and switch to Ben when you need a defensive boost. Koleda is great for larger enemies toinflict Stun and slow them down.

Entering The Hollow

When you first arrive in The Hollow, you will see Friday directly in front of you. Move to the right until you are one tile away from Friday, where a cutscene will trigger. Friday will spot you, and you will instead be prompted to sneak around the machine.

Move down and to the left as tiles appear until you are close to Friday. Unfortunately, though, no commission is this easy, so, of course, Friday will run away.

Follow Friday until a message from Fairy triggers. Fairy warns you that Friday is about to pile drive straight down, and you and your team fall into a Hollow Fissure and down a floor.

On the next floor, a series of launchers will appear. Stepping on a launcher will launch your bangboo forward. Step onto the two launchers, and you will arrive at an area on the map with an enemy tile. Move up to the enemy tile and engage in combat.

Combat will be done in two rounds - the first round against two waves of lesser Ethereals, and the second against one wave of lesser Ethereals and one wave with an Elite Ethereal. Once combat is complete, you will be returned to the HDD.

You can now move left towards the Hollow Observation Data and the Hollow Fissure tile.

When you transfer floors, you will see a Rest Area tile above you and Friday below you. Be sure to heal if needed before proceeding down and to the right to catch Friday.

Once again, however, Friday will pile drive down and send you through a Hollow Fissure.

Move right toward the conveyor belt to take it toward the center of the HDD screens.

Move up to claim the Hollow Observation Data, and be ready for a surprise. Move onto the tiles diagonally down to the left or right of the Hollow Observation Data to reveal loot tiles that you can claim.

Another secret tile, containing an Investigator Supply Box, is above the Hollow Observation Data, so claim that as well.

In this area, you will see an enemy tile. While it is not mandatory to do this combat encounter, it does reward you with an Elite Investigator Supply Box, so we recommend completing it.

Similar to the other combat encounter, this encounter is three waves of lesser Ethereals followed by one wave with an Elite Ethereal.

Doing the combat encounter will also reveal a Rest Area tile to top up your party member's health before proceeding down.

When you are ready, move to the Hollow Fissure tile to move back up and continue your chase after Friday.

Claim the Ether Dewdrops if you need more healing, then move right to follow the path. Eventually, you will see Friday hiding in a brick alcove. Fairy will explain that Friday is now trapped, and you can capture it.

Before capturing Friday, though, you will want to be sure to claim the final Hollow Observation Data. To do this, move two tiles to the right from where the Fairy cutscene is triggered, and a secret path upwards will reveal itself.

Follow the path up and to the right, then move down to claim the Hollow Observation Data.

This is the only secret path in this area, and while taking it, you will also be able to claim the final boxes of Investigator Supplies.

Once the data set is claimed, the brick tile below you will explode, and you will have an easy path back toward Friday. When you are ready to enter the final stage of combat, proceed to Friday's tile, and a cutscene will play.

How To Beat Friday

Friday, the Pile Driver

Faction: Special

Type: Machine

Weakness: Electric

Resistance: Physical

For the first stage of combat against Friday, it will attempt to run away from you. While Friday moves slowly in this attack stage, it also doesn't take much damage since you have to focus your attention on pursuing it along with attacking it.

Friday will make a few attacks, mostly heavy downward attacks from the center of its body, but ultimately focuses on moving away. Once Friday reaches the end of the corridor, however, it will spring forward into the combat arena.

Once in the arena, Friday will switch to more frequent, heavy-hitting attacks. Luckily for you, however, Friday moves pretty slowly.

Keeping a close eye out for Perfect Dodges and Perfect Assists will be key to finishing off this combat as swiftly as possible.

Because of Friday's slow movements, your best bet is to put out as much damage as possible while Friday recharges from attacks.

The most lethal attack is when Friday spins its legs, so do your best to Dodge away from Friday when you see this move animation prepping and stay out of range until it is finished!

You can cause Friday to become Impaired by targeting attacks at its legs. Impaired legs will then spark with electricity and appear to be visually damaged.

Once combat concludes, one final cutscene will play before this mission is complete.
