World Of Warcraft: Dragonflight - How To Get Exalted With The Sha'tari Skyguard Faction

World of Warcraft boasts countless factions, from a clan of geriatric turtles to the light-sworn Argent Crusade. More often than not, though, the higher the reputation, the greater the rewards offered. The Sha'tari Skyguard, a clan of airborne warriors introduced in The Burning Crusade, is no exception.

Tips To Manage Improving Your Reputation
Before you get to work, there are a few helpful setups to make the process less painful. Firstly, head into your character's 'Reputation' tab under your character profile, and find the Sha'tari Skyguard faction under The Burning Crusade and Shattrath City.
Checking 'Move to Experience Bar' will add an easily trackable bar to the bottom of your interface. If you don’t have any reputation with the faction already, it won’t show up, so just keep that in mind and track it when you can.
You might notice that the quests you need aren't visible on the map. This is because they are considered low-level or 'trivial' quests, but it’s an easy fix. Just click on the magnifying glass symbol to the left of your mini-map, and make sure that “Trivial Quests” are checked.
Finally, there are a number of quests in both Terokkar Forest and Blade's Edge Mountains that can significantly increase your reputation, but they are not required to access the main daily quests, which will most likely be the bulk of your grinding.
If you have already done these quests, or don't feel like it, skip to the "Daily Quests" section.
There are several in-game events that can increase your reputation gain, such as the Darkmoon Faire, Pilgrim’s Bounty, Hallow’s End, and Outland Timewalking. These can save you a significant amount of time when grinding rep!
Sha'tari Skyguard Reputation Questing In Terokkar Forest
First, you will be heading to Shattrath City, which is easily accessible via portal in the Portal Room in either capital city. Once there, look for a female draenei named Yuula, just right of the 'T' in Terrace of Light and next to the flight master.
Grab "Threat from Above" and head to the area highlighted on the map to do some ogre hunting. Using a max-level toon will ensure that they will go down in one hit.
When completed, turn it in and get the next quest, "To Skettis!", which just requires you to bring the given item to the nearby Sha'tari Skyguard hub.
You should be able to follow the quest line all the way to the final one, "Terokk's Downfall," giving you around 2,960 reputation points total for this quest chain.
Additionally, the quests "More Shadow Dust," "Tokens of the Descendants," and "Terokk's Downfall" are repeatable and will be covered in more depth later on.
Sha'tari Skyguard Reputation Questing In Blade's Edge Mountains
When you unlock these dailies, be warned that they are located in Blade's Edge Mountains, not at the base in Terokkar, so keep that in mind when choosing to do these quests or not.
To access the Sha'tari Skyguard related quests in the area, a fair bit of questing with the ogres of the Bloodmaul clan is required. This can be started in either Shattrath City or Blade's Edge Mountains.
If you choose to start in Shattrath, look for a Naaru named V'eru in the portal room. It will be right above the Orgrimmar and Stormwind City portals and will give you the quest "Speak with the Ogre." This will guide you straight to Mog'dorg the Wizened in Blade's Edge Mountains.
Alternatively, there is an NPC, Chort, close to Mog'dorg himself that will also start the quest-line, giving you "The Trouble Below." These two can be found by the Circle of Blood Arena, Mog'dorg being on top of the east-most pillar and Chort on the ground in front of it.
From here, continue with the quests leading all the way to the first Skyguard-related quest, "Our Boy Wants To Be a Skyguard Ranger."
Once completing this, "The Skyguard Outpost" will be available from Chu'a'lor, leading to five more quests that will give you rep. Completing these follow-up quests will give you around 760 rep total.
Additionally, they will finally open up the dailies "Bomb Them Again!" and "Wrangle More Aether Rays!"
Sha'tari Skyguard Daily Quests
Unless you have completed the quest-chain in Blade's Edge Mountains, there will be two daily quests available: "Fires Over Skettis," giving 350 rep each, and "Escape from Skettis," giving 150.
If you have completed the quest chain, "Bomb Them Again!" (+500 rep) and "Wrangle More Aether Rays!" (+350 rep) will also be accessible.
Quest
Requirements
Fires Over Skettis
A dwarf at the base camp named Sky Sergeant Doryn will give you this quest. Simply use the given Skyguard Blasting Charges to destroy the Monstrous Kaliri Eggs found on the tops of various Arrakoa structures nearby.
Escape From Skettis
This quest can be started in one of three locations from a caged draenei on top of the treehouse structures found at the top left, top right, and bottom right of Skettis. Starting the quest will free the prisoner and begin the escort portion.
This is very easy; just be sure to stick with him until the quest is complete, which is usually once he reaches the bottom.
Bomb Them Again!
"Bomb Them Again!" is given by blood-elf Sky Sergenat Vanderlip in the Skyguard Outpost in Blade's Edge Mountains. Take the given Skyguard Bombs to the highlighted area and use them to destroy the scattered ammo deposits.
If you want to speed things up, it's possible to cast the bomb twice by casting another bomb while the first is still in progress. This is easiest if you add the bomb to your action bar.
Wrangle more Aether Rays!
This quest comes from Skyguard Khatie at the Blade's Edge Mountains hub, just requiring you to lasso five Aether Rays and bring them back. The Aether Rays can be found around Vortex Summit and Crystal Spine to the northeast.
This macro will make theWrangle more Aether Rays a cinch:
/cleartarget /tar Aether Ray /stopmacro [noexists] /dismount /cast Wrangling Rope
Sha'tari Skyguard Repeatable Quests
There are two other quests that are repeatable and great sources for continuously grinding reputation: "More Shadow Dust," "Tokens of the Descendants," and "Terokk's Downfall." All are located at the Sha'tari Skyguard camp in Terokkar Forest.
"More Shadow Dust"
Luckily, you don't have to talk to anyone to receive this quest. Slaying any Arrakoa in Skettis will have a decent chance of dropping the Shadow Dust item.
Once you have at least six, bring them back to Severin at the base to get 150 reputation and one Elixir of Shadows. Although repeatable, 150 reputation each isn't much. Luckily, the Elixir of Shadows will come in handy for the next two quests.
If you're desperate, Shadow Dust can be bought on the Auction House, but averages around 50g each based on your server.
"Tokens of the Descendants"
To start this quest, simply consume an Elixir of Shadows. It will give you a buff that allows you to see the previously-hidden shadowy Arrakoa in Skettis.
The potion only lasts for 15 minutes, so it's a good idea to have multiple on hand so it's easy to re-apply.
Now, you will be collecting Time-Lost Scrolls, which drop around 50 percent of the time from these Time-Lost Arakkoa. You will need 40 total to finish the quest, but once you have ten, you can start the quest's second portion.
At various locations on the ground around Skettis you will find ritualistic skull piles. Interact with one to use ten Time-Lost Scrolls and summon one of four enemies: Gezzarak, Karrog, Akkarai and Vakkiz.
It's best to summon them in order so it's easier to keep track of which ones you've killed.
Defeating each one will drop their respective body part, Gezzarak's Claws, Karrog's Spine, Akkarai's Talons, and Vakkiz's Scale; as well as temporarily deactivate the Skull Pile used, so you will have to find another one with the next ten Time-Lost Scrolls.
Finally, with each part in hand, return to the base and turn them in to the caged troll, Hazzik. He will give you 350 reputation and the Time-Lost Offering, leading us into the finale of this mini-quest chain.
"Terokk's Downfall"
Head to the small island in the middle of the lake to find a giant ritual circle. Interact with the small pile of skulls to use the Time-Lost Offering and summon Terokk.
Defeating him will give you a whopping 1,000 experience when turned in to Sky Commander Adaris. While this quest is repeatable, there is a 10 to 15 minute respawn timer to summon him again.
If you're a hunter, dismiss your pet when defeating Terokk:if your pet kills it before you do, you won't gain additional rep.
Additional Enemy Grinding For Sha'tari Skyguard Reputation
The enemies in the surrounding area also give reputation when killed. The Skettis Kaliri give five each, the Arakkoa and Monstrous Kaliris give ten, and the Talonsworn Forest-Rager give 30. A ranged class that can take down a lot of enemies at once would be best for rapid grinding.
