However, World of Warcraft: Classic's Season of Discovery has introduced another game-changing feature that solves this inconvenience; Dual Specialization. With this feature that was originally added to the game in the Burning Crusade expansion, you can create two different talent load-outs on one character.

What Is Dual Specialization?

Dual Specialization lets a character have two different talent builds that they can switch between.

An example of this being useful is a hunter that mainly fights with their ranged weapon and Marksmanship talents, but finds it difficult to do so in PVP. Through Dual Specialization, that hunter can have a melee build with Survival talents that they can change to should the need arise.

Learning how to use this useful feature isn't as simple as going to your class trainer, though. To learn how to switch between your two chosen specializations or builds, you have to seek out a new face that has arrived in the cities of Ironforge and Orgrimmar.

Once you've learned Dual Specialization, you can only switch your chosen load-outs when out of combat.

How To Learn Dual Specialization

To learn Dual Specialization on your character, you first need to be two things: at least level 40 and willing to part with 50 gold.

The second thing you need to do is to seek out that new face in town; the dwarf, Grendag Brightbeard. For the exchange of that 50 gold, he will teach you this skill with a smile.

You will have to learn Dual Specialization on each character you wish to use it with.

Where To Find Grendag Brightbeard

Grendag Brightbeard, the guru of Dual Specialization, can be found in two cities. For the Alliance player, he can be found in the dwarves' capital, Ironforge. For the Horde player, he can be found in the orcs' capital, Orgrimmar.

How To Find Grendag Brightbeard In Ironforge

In Ironforge, Grendag Brightbeard skulks around the Forlorn Cavern, in the back of the city. He stands in front of the weapons shop, Stoneblade's, near the tunnel to the Mystic Ward.

In Orgrimmar, Grendag Brightbeard loiters within the Valley of Strength, the main entrance of the city. He stands near the entrance to The Drag, next to the bonfire there.
