At the start of Wild West Dynasty, you won't have a single weapon to your name. Still, you are required to trek across the land in search of Ed and later, the town of Taxation. If you need help getting a gun, we are here for you.

In this guide, we are going to take a look at how to get your first gun. Overall, this is quite simple, but it's very easy to overlook it. Thankfully, you can do this pretty quickly after starting a new game. First, let's take a look at what you need to do before seeking out the gun.
Prerequisites
The prerequisites for finding your first gun are straightforward. You will need to finish the section with your mom, and then head to Ed's Farm.
Here, he will give you some tasks that serve as a mini tutorial. One of your tasks will be to make a stone axe that requires the following materials to make.
- 1x Stone
- 3x Stick
Once the axe is crafted, Ed will tell you to demolish his barn. With the axe in hand, you are ready to find the gun.
We recommend destroying the barn first. After this short task, Ed will tell you to go back to your mom's grave to place some flowers. You can find the gun while on the way to the grave site.
Finding The Gun
The gun will be in Hancock's Cave, behind a sealed wooden door. From Ed's Farm, face towards the cave. Head straight forward to the cave, approaching it from the back side (based on when you first entered with your mom).
While passing through the cave tunnel, you will see a wooden door; use your axe to destroy the door and enter into the area.
Inside, you will see a skeleton, as well as a gun nearby. Although this looks like a trap, you can just grab the gun and leave.
Now, you have a gun! There is no ammo, but you can find this later. Before you leave the small area, be sure to loot everything, including the hat that the skeleton is wearing.
