Warzone 2 has been out for more than a week and it has already been revealed that more than 25 million people have taken the sequel for a whirl. There are naturally still a number of issues for Raven Software to iron out though, such as one player discovering they can hop in a truck and drive it along the bottom of the sea bed, safe from danger.

The potentially problematic exploit has been discovered and shared by Guilty_Possibility47. As demonstrated in the clip below, the player hops into a cargo truck and proceeds to drive it into the ocean. Presumably because they accidentally discovered this bug previously and this time they're recording their gameplay and want to show the exploit to the rest of the world.

Rather than the truck breaking down and the player losing oxygen, the truck happily drives along the ocean floor in what is actually a pretty peaceful scenario, at least when compared to what's happening above the surface. Before you try it for yourself, this doesn't appear to be a common bug. VG247 has already tried to replicate it a number of times and not had any luck.

That likely means something particular has to happen for Warzone's cargo trucks to accidentally become amphibious. If you are lucky enough to be struck by the underwater truck bug, and the storm happens to include a body of water as it closes in, you could be onto a winner. Unless someone has read about this little-known exploit or experienced it for themselves, odds are your enemies aren't going to know you're hiding out in a truck underwater.

If you are hiding out under the waves as the storm closes in, you'll want to stay quiet about it. Proximity chat has been added to Warzone 2 which means players can talk to each other when close by, a feature that has players split. Behind the scenes, Call of Duty studio Activision Blizzard faces various lawsuits following an investigation in 2021, the results of which shone a spotlight on an alleged toxic work culture behind the scenes.
