Black Friday weekend is still more than two weeks away, but much like Christmas, it feels like the sale period gets here earlier and earlier every year. There are a lot of very good deals out there already if you want to take advantage of the biggest sale weekend of the year ahead of time, including some big reductions on Pokemon cards. What might be the very best of those deals is currently live at Walmart, but you'll need to be fast to take advantage of it because it will almost definitely sell out fast.

The Crown Zenith Pikachu VMAX set, which usually retails for $49.99, is currently available for just $25. Technically a set that's available through multiple retailers, the version available below for half price right now is a Walmart exclusive. The Walmart version of the set includes two additional packs and a Gigantamx Pikachu pin that you won't find anywhere else. So not only a $50 set for $25 but that same set with a couple of added extras.

The Crown Zenith set includes seven booster packs in total, an etched foil promo Pikachu VMAX card, two foil promo Pikachu V cards, an oversized Pikachu VMAX card, and a code for Pokemon TCG Live. Yes, that is a lot of Pikachu, but what were you expecting from a set themed after Ash's long-time sidekick? Remember there are seven booster packs in the set. Arguably worth the $25 all by themselves, and a guarantee you'll get a lot more than just Pikachu with this box.

Pokemon seems to be in the mood for giving this holiday season. Not only can you get the Crown Zenith set above for half price, but any and all customers who buy something through the Pokemon Center right now will get a Pikachu tree ornament free of charge. The offer will run through November 23, so the day before Black Friday, providing stocks last. It's the same ornament Pokemon was giving away last year, so I'm assuming there are plenty left over.

That said, if you really want that ornament, I'd buy something from the Pokemon Center sooner rather than later. You never know when we're going to have another Van Gogh promo card situation on our hands.
