Ever since a few months after the launch, Wuthering Waves has shown some staggering improvement not only in the game's performance but also in character design and animations. This makes their newer characters a lot more appealing than characters from the very start.

Here's how to unlock Nightmare Echoes in Wuthering Waves!
PostsRoccia is one such character, and she's also the second character released from the Rinascita region. She's a five-star Havoc unit with Gauntlets as her weapon, and you'd want to build her properly if you want to get the most out of her kit.
Best Roccia Weapons
Unfortunately, Wuthering Waves has seen a massive lack of decent weapons when it comes to most characters unless you have their signature, and this is the same for Roccia. However, you still have a few choices to fulfill different needs:
Tragicomedy
Of course, Roccia's signature weapon serves her the best as it gives her much-needed Crit Rate, extra ATK, and a massive Heavy Attack DMG boost.
Marcato
Marcato is another great four-star choice for Roccia as it gives her some Energy Regen and Concerto Energy, allowing you to switch much faster. Though you'll need a lot of Crit Rate from her echoes with this one.
Stonard
If you buy the battle pass, you can also use this weapon on her to get the Crit Rate. However, the liberation damage bonus is useless as her liberation is considered as a heavy attack.
Celestial Spiral
This can be another decent weapon to get extra damage on Roccia by providing her with a ton of attack.
Gauntlets Of Night
Finally, your best three-star choice if you don't have any of the above weapons is Gauntlets of Night to get another decent ATK boost after using your Intro Skill.
Roccia Echo Guide
To build a character's echoes in Wuthering Waves, you first have to select a proper set that would give your character the best bonuses, and then choose their primary echo and stats. The primary echoes can use their abilities with the character during battle:
Best Roccia Echo Sets
Midnight Veil
This is the best set you'll find for Roccia as it gives her increased Havoc DMG while also increasing the Havoc DMG for the resonator that you switch to after triggering her outro.
Moonlit Clouds
If you haven't unlocked the above set yet, you can also use this one to get some general buffs. This set is also better if you're using Roccia with a non-Havoc main DPS.
Best Primary Echoes For Roccia

Nightmare: Impermanence Heron
Midnight Veil
Apart from dealing extra damage, this echo also increases Roccia's Havoc and Heavy Attack DMG, which are both perfect stats for her.
Impermanence Heron
Moonlit Clouds
This echo can give her some extra energy when it hits the enemies while also providing ATK to the resonator that you switch to.
Best Echo Stats For Roccia

Havoc DMG Bonus > Energy Regen

ATK Percent
You'd want to go with a 4-3-3-1-1 echo set with Roccia, but if you're using a weapon without Crit Rate as the main stat, you can also try 4-4-1-1-1.
As for her sub-stats, you'd want as much Crit Rate, Heavy Attack DMG Bonus, Energy Regen, and ATK as possible.
Best Roccia Team Compositions
Due to the limitations of the roster in Wuthering Waves and Roccia's niche support utility, she doesn't have a lot of great team compositions. There's one team that's perfect for her if you have the right characters, but you'll have to make some compromises if you don't:
Team Members
Description
Roccia, Camellya, Shorekeeper
Camellya's main source of damage is both Havoc and Basic Attack, which are the two attributes buffed by Roccia in her outro skill. This makes for a perfect team with Shorekeeper as the secondary buffer.
Havoc Rover/Danjin, Roccia, Baizhi
Both Havoc Rover and Danjin deal Heavy Damage as their main source, which isn't buffed by Roccia. However, they can still use the Havoc DMG bonus if you don't have a better support.
Baizhi is the F2P-friendly support and sustainer, but you can easily replace her with Verina or Shorekeeper in these teams.
Roccia Traces Overview And Priority
There are plenty of characters in Wuthering Waves with difficult kits to understand, but Roccia isn't one of them. She's quite a simple character, and here's how she works:
- Her skill groups enemies up while providing her with 100 Imagination, which is enough for one bar on her Forte. She can also get Imagination from her Intro Skill or charging her Heavy Attack.
- When you trigger your Skill or hit someone with your Heavy Attack, you can enter a special state where you can consistently perform buffed plunge attacks, which consume 100 Imagination each.
- She gains a lot of energy when you perform her Skill or the buffed plunge attacks. Her Ultimate deals damage to surrounding enemies, but mainly, it increases the ATK of all resonators in your party.
Ideally, you'd want Roccia's time on the field to be as little as possible. This can be done by using her Intro Skill, Basic Attack, and Skill in that order. This will give you full stacks of Imagination while triggering the special state and allowing you to trigger three plunge attacks. Now, you can use her Liberation and switch off with the outro skill.
If you're planning to use Roccia only for her buffs, you don't have to upgrade any of her abilities since they all buff damage. However, this extra damage can be crucial for various endgame modes. If you're planning to challenge these, you'd want to upgrade her Forte Circuit, Skill, Liberation, and Intro Skill in that order.
You can leave her Basic Attack as you won't use it much anyway.
