While playing Wuthering Waves, most of your time will be spent trying to grind materials to upgrade your characters and make good teams, apart from when a new update rolls around and brings new content to explore. Ascending your units through multiple phases is a big chunk of these character upgrades.

You have to do this every time you pull a new character like Changli, who's a five-star Sword user dealing Fusion damage. If you want to make this beautifully designed unit powerful, you'll have to get the following materials for her upgrades.

If you want to get all these materials, you'll have to fulfill certain conditions:

• Pavo Plum can be acquired in bulk in the starting area of Mt. Firmament. This is essentially the northwest side of the mountain, which has an orange-colored terrain. You can get up to four Plums from each branch here.
• Rage Tacet Cores can be farmed from the Inferno Rider boss located in the Sea Of Flames using your Waveplate.
• Finally, the different rings required for Changli's ascension will require you to go around the map and defeat Exile enemies. These can be found everywhere, and you can also use the detection system in the game to have an easier time.

Changli Forte Materials

Once you unlock a certain ascension for Changli, you'll be able to upgrade her abilities to a certain level. Moreover, you can unlock her Inherent Skill and stat bonuses with these ascensions as well. However, upgrading these abilities isn't nearly as easy as unlocking them since they need quite a lot of the following materials:

• Various Metallic Drip items that you can farm using your Waveplate on the Flaming Remnants Forgery Challenge in Sea Of Flames. These are some of the most difficult items to farm because of how few you get in each run.
• On higher-level upgrades, you'll also need a weekly boss drop called Sentinel's Dagger, which can be acquired by fighting the Jue boss. However, you can only do this battle three times each week, so it's recommended to use yours if you haven't.

Other than these items, you'll also need the same mob drops that you used for Changli's ascension.
