Xiangli Yao Echo Guide
There are a few options that you can try out here, but the best Echo Set for Xiangli Yao is the Void Thunder set. Equipping the complete set will increase your Electro damage significantly. For this set, your main echo should be Thundering Mephis, as it will boost Xiangli Yao's Resonance Liberation damage, which you must focus on most.
You can also equip the Lingering Tunes set if you have better stats on the individual echoes for more damage output. Using the Moonlit Clouds echo set with two Sonata effects is also a great option, if you want more energy regeneration, to use his Resonance Liberation repeatedly.

Best Weapons For Xiangli Yao
There are a variety of weapons you can equip on your Xiangli Yao for him to perform well. The Verity Handle is the best five-star weapon to give him, considering it buffs up his Resonance Liberation. However, if you are a F2P player, there are some other great weapons that you can try out for him, including the Marcato, Gauntlets#21D, and Originite: Type IV.
Crafting the Gauntlets#21D is one of the best F2P options, considering that you can craft it by smithing. The Energy Regeneration substat on a weapon is not to be underestimated, since it recharges your Resonance Liberation quickly.

His Resonance skill will be replaced by Divergence during Intuition mode, which will activate when you cast his Resonance Liberation. Your Dodge Counter will transform into Unfathomed as well. Your basic and heavy attacks will also be replaced by Pivot Impale while it is active.
Upgrading the Resonance Liberation will increase the damage done by Divergence, Pivot Impale, and Unfathomed. Leveling up your Forte Circuit will buff up Revamp, Decipher and Law of Reigns damage.
When the performance capacity in the Forte Circuit increases to five in Xiangli Yao's Intuition mode, his default Resonance Skill will be replaced by Law of Reigns, and any damage dealt by it will be considered Resonance Liberation damage. To increase the damage done by Law of Reigns, you need to upgrade Xiangli Yao's Forte Circuit as your second priority.
Xiangli Yao gets a different Forte Circuit bar when he activates Intuition mode. This is called the Performance Capacity bar that fills up when you use Pivot Impale, Divergence, Unfathomed and Revamp.
You can also invest in his Normal Attacks, Resonance Skill and Intro Skill, considering it takes a while for Resonance Liberation to charge up. Using these against enemies will fill up your capacity bar to 100, which will allow you to cast Resonance Skill Decipher.
