The best thing about Taoqi is that a four-star weapon is her best in slot. This one gives you some extra ATK and DEF while also increasing her DEF massively through the secondary stat.
It is perfect for getting high shields, damage reduction, and damage dealt on Taoqi.

This weapon is perfect for Taoqi's quick swap play style as it helps you regenerate extra Concerto Energy while also giving you the Resonance Liberation quicker.

Broadblade Of Voyager
Finally, if you don't have the other weapons mentioned above, you can use this three-star one to get even more Liberation energy on Taoqi, allowing you to build her as a semi-DPS.
Taoqi Echo Guide
Wuthering Waves features a unique echo system where you can place up to five echoes on each character once you get them in the overworld. These echoes can give Taoqi some useful stats, and also have bonus effects if you have two or five pieces from the same set. Here are the set bonuses you should look for her:

This is the set you'd want to use if you're building Taoqi as a support, which gives her far more value in the team. With Impermanence Hero and the set bonus, you'll be able to give a ton of ATK boost to the character you switch to.

On the other hand, this set and echo should be used if you want to deal a bit of damage with her. Keep in mind, however, that her normal attacks don't deal a lot of DMG since they scale on ATK.
Echo Stat Priority
Once you're done choosing an echo set for her, the next step is to find the echoes with the following stats:

You can have up to five sub-stats on each echo in Wuthering Waves, which allows you to build some Crit and Havoc DMG Bonus on Taoqi even if you're building her as a support. She can deal a bit of damage with her three buffed basic attacks, Intro Skill, and Liberation, so these stats will help you out there.
As for the sub-stats, you should look for as much DEF, Energy Regen, and Crit as you can. You can also look for Basic Attack or Liberation DMG Bonus.
Best Team Members For Taoqi
This is where the problem with Taoqi currently shines out in Wuthering Waves. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of characters dealing a ton of damage with their Resonance Skill, which is the part that she buffs with her Outro ability. Still, you can use the following characters to get some value:
Havoc Rover
While most damage from Havoc Rover comes from their Basic Attack and Resonance Liberation, you can still deal a ton of DMG with their Skill, especially if you have the second waveband.
Mortefi
While Mortefi is supposed to be built as a support himself, there is a scenario where you can build him as a DPS due to his high damage numbers, which mostly come from his Skill.
Chixia
Chixia is another free character that you can use, and she gets a bit of value from her Skill.
Encore
Finally, Encore relies on almost every type of damage in her kit, but she can deal quite a massive blow with her Skill due to the low cooldown, making way for synergy with Taoqi.

If you've been playing Wuthering Waves for a while, you might've already realized that you get quite limited resources in the game. This means that you can't just upgrade everything on every character, and support characters are the best ones to save some of your EXP materials.
You can start by upgrading her Resonance Skill, followed by her Forte Circuit and Basic Attack. However, if you're only building Taoqi for being quick swapped on the field, you don't need to upgrade her Intro Skill and Resonance Liberation. Of course, you'd still want to unlock her Inherent Skills as fast as possible.
